VFW Post 6747 is dedicated to serving veterans, strengthening our community, and preserving the values that define American service. Our programs play a vital role in fulfilling that mission. Through initiatives like Patriot’s Pen and Voice of Democracy, we help local students develop a deeper appreciation for patriotism, civic responsibility, and the sacrifices made by America’s service members. The Buddy Poppy program supports veterans in need while reminding the community of the cost of freedom. These programs — along with our outreach, advocacy, and community partnerships — ensure that the legacy of service continues, that veterans receive the support they deserve, and that future generations understand the meaning of Americanism. They are at the heart of who we are and why we serve.
