VFW Post 6747 is funded entirely through community support and fundraising activities, which allow us to continue serving veterans and strengthening South Monterey County. Every dollar raised through events like Buddy Poppy distributions, barbecues, raffles, toy drives, bike nights, and other community gatherings goes directly toward supporting veterans in need, running youth programs such as Patriot’s Pen and Voice of Democracy, and keeping our Post active in local service. These fundraising efforts ensure we can provide emergency assistance, host educational events, maintain our facilities, and continue honoring the legacy of those who served. When the community participates, donate, or simply show up, they help us make a real difference in the lives of veterans and their families.
